Roman began his career at the age of 17 working in one of the most prestigious hair salons in NYC, John Barrett Salon, at Bergdorf Goodman.

There Roman trained along side the most talented hairdressers in the world. He took his extensive knowledge and expertise downtown as a master stylist working for Butterfly. His clients include the top Fashion editors and celebrities such as Danica Patrick, Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin.

He has since established his own signature brand and aesthetic with the launch of Roman K Salon—one of New York City's most luxurious and sought-after salons.

Sophie wanted to learn from top celebrity colorists in the industry so she moved to Los Angeles in 2014 where she got the opportunity of a lifetime and started apprenticing under Jennifer Aniston's long time hair colorist, Michael Canale, co-creator of the iconic “The Rachel” hairstyle. As Canale’s apprentice she got to travel with him working in different salons across the country and got to work on a number of his celebrity clients ranging from Faye Dunaway to 90s iconic supermodel, Carolyn Murphy. After a 3 year grueling training period Sophie decided she wanted to live somewhere more fast paced so she packed up her bags and moved to New York in 2019 where she immediately started building a clientele.

Sophie believes that hair color should look like it could naturally come from your head. She says the days are over where you have to put 500 foils in someone’s hair – now, its all about placement. She believes in strategically placing foils where the sun would naturally hit. She also loves to wrap the tips of the hair in foils to give that extra “pop” of brightness towards the ends, creating a more modern movement with color.

Sophie is known by her clients for taking their hair’s natural beauty and enhancing it to make it the hair of their dreams. Her creativity and easy going demeanor has her clients always coming back for more.  Whether Sophie is doing color, extensions or keratins, she likes to tell people she has the greatest job in the world because she gets to work with her friends on her friends while making them feel beautiful.

Arjo's passion for the beauty industry runs deep, and it all began in her homeland of India. Growing up, she was immersed in the world of beauty from an early age, as her mother owned a successful beauty salon. Inspired by her mother’s dedication and artistry, Arjo knew she wanted to follow in her footsteps and make her own mark in the industry. She embarked on an exciting journey to the United States to study beauty at the prestigious Aveda Institute in New York.

Arjo’s career started with makeup, where she developed her eye for detail and dedication to her craft. She later discovered a love for blondes and a talent for creating lived-in, natural looks. Since joining the RKS team in 2020, she has become a talented colorist, specializing in highlights, balayage, classic foils, air touch, and blowouts. Bella Sky is a true artist of transformation. With roots in classical arts and a foundation in science, she sees hair as architecture, silhouette, identity.

Her career began in Moscow, where her love for both teaching and creating quickly led to early recognition. Known for her passion, precision, and ability to elevate everything she touches, Bella became an international educator in color and cutting while still in her early twenties. Later, she opened her own salon in Odessa — a space where technique, creativity, and soulful beauty lived side by side.

Recently, she relocated to New York City to join her husband and is honored to have found a home at RKS!
